There has been good news for Nintendo during the last couple of weeks, The company that is following a low price strategy for its new console Nintendo Wii has announced that arcade games will be in the market through Nintendo’s virtual console. The games will be available for downloading at a price of $5 to $10 US dollars.

The virtual console strategy is expected to be a key factor of attraction for potential customers. Nintendo is playing its cards well since the delay of the PS3 console meant huge loses to Sony this year.

The Nintendo DS has been a success in the market with 8.3 million of them sold in Japan. If everything goes well for Nintendo the company will recover some of its share in the entertainment market late this year.
