Sidekick III Launched

T-Mobile’s Sidekick III was launched today in the United States, the device that has become an article necessary for social life (and a source of celebrities phone numbers – Paris Hilton case) will have enhanced characteristics of connectivity such as IM client, web browser, calendar, contact manager and email client. For caller-ID purposes, you can pair an entry with a photo, a group ID, or one of 22 ring tones.
Main characteristics of the device will include 240 x 160 pixel, 65,000 color display, Bluetooth, ARM9 processor, miniSD slot, MP3 Player, Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Trackball for one-handed navigation, 64MB Flash memory, 64MB of SDRAM, and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
The device will be tagged from US $250 with a new contract through T-Mobile, US $350 for existing contracts.
